In addition, its aggressions are multiplying, and still more open, at home and abroad. The events concerning the Gaza Flotilla have opened　 many peoples' eyes to the true character of the state of Israel, and of the unconditional US-support it relies on.

We consider it as important that your report should receive whatever attention we can provide in our country, and our "Daily Worker" certainly shall be an instrument.

Dear comrades, we admire your steadfast work in your country, and we assure you of our solidarity with the people of Lebanon, and with your party.

Nous avons bien reçu votre appel du 21 juillet avertissant le mouvement communiste international des menaces guerrières précises que l'Etat israélien raciste et de néo-aparheid fait peser sur le peuple et la résistance au Liban.
Cela nous rappelle l'agression israélienne de l'été 2006 contre le Liban. Vous pouvez compter sur notre pleine solidarité avec nos camarades du PCL, avec la résistance nationale et avec le peuple libanais comme en 2006. Nous ferons de notre mieux, sachant que Bruxelles abrite la direction de l'Union européene impérialiste et le quartier-général de l'Otan en Europe.
L'Otan et les Etats-Unis s'embourbent en Afghanistan où ils commettent crimes sur crimes comme d'ailleurs en Irak. Mais ils ne peuvent venir à bout de la résistance opiniâtre qui défend le territoire nationale. Les USA, l'UE et Israël menacent militairement l'Iran. Les mêmes USA menacent militairement la République populaire démocratique de Corée. Avec la Colombie – le grand allié d'Israël en Amérique latine -, ils menacent militairement le Venezuela.
Dans ce contexte, Israël se sent en bonne compagnie pour s'en prendre militairement une nouvelle fois au courageux Liban.
Nous serons partie prenante des initiatives internationales des Partis communistes et ouvriers en solidarité avec le peuple libanais.

A Solidarity message to the Lebanese Communist Party

And to support Lebanese people

Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia firmly condemns threats by Israeli government against Lebanese people.

It is an invariable attitude of the Communist party of Bohemia and Moravia that it is possible to reach a lasting peaceful solution of contentious questions not by power, but just solely at a conference table, from a position of both the sovereignty and the equality of all the participants. It is of an universal validity, anywhere around the world, thus also for the Middle East. The international community should show both its unity and its power even in struggle for a lasting solution of the Middle East conflict. By its consistent pressure, it should compel Israel to respect appropriate UN Resolutions, to end its aggression against Palestinian people and to cease threats against its surrounding countries, the Lebanon included, either by military or in any different way, as well as to respect unconditionally their sovereignty. The UN must be an joining, peacemaking factor and not a diving one, even in the Middle East.

We protest against politics of Israeli government, which, by its acting, systematically violates an international law and doesn't respect the right of surrounding countries and peoples for a solidarity, a self-determination and a living in both the peace and a friendly coexistence with its neighbours.

The CPBM expresses its solidarity to threatened Lebanon as well as to oppressed Palestinian people and to everyone who is handled from a position of strength. We support all progressive and democratic forces which struggle for a just and lastingly peaceful solution in the Middle East as well as elsewhere all around the world.
